Title: 
IMC compartmentalization and its role in maturation and transmission of P. falciparum gametocytes

Description:
The position is funded through a three year grant titled ”IMC compartmentalization and its role in maturation and transmission of P. falciparum gametocytes” and focuses on the identification of critical molecules and interactions associated with the morphological changes of the erythrocyte (asexual and gametocyte) stages of the malaria parasite. In particular, interactions of inner membrane complex- cytoskeleton proteins are to be assessed and validated for phenotypic importance using fluorescence microscopy, biochemical and genetic tools.

The position is funded for up to three years, with competitive salary and benefits.
